1. Overview
This policy outlines the terms for cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds for cleaning services provided by Clear Nest Clean. We aim to be fair and transparent in all circumstances.
2. Cancellations by You (the Customer)
More than 24 hours’ notice
If you cancel or reschedule your booking more than 24 hours before the scheduled start time, there is no charge. You may rebook at a time that suits you.
Less than 24 hours’ notice
If you cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice, a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the quoted price may apply. This covers the cost of the cleaner’s reserved time.
No-show or no access
If our cleaner arrives at the agreed time and is unable to access the property (and no prior notice was given), the full quoted amount may be charged.
3. Cancellations by Us
If we need to cancel a booking due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. illness, emergency), we will:
- Notify you as soon as possible
- Offer an alternative date at no extra cost
- Provide a full refund if an alternative date is not suitable
4. Rescheduling
You may reschedule a booking free of charge provided you give us at least 24 hours’ notice. Rescheduling requests with less than 24 hours’ notice will be treated as a late cancellation (see above).
5. Refunds
Services not yet provided
If you have paid in advance and cancel within the terms above (more than 24 hours’ notice), you will receive a full refund. Refunds are arranged within 5–10 working days.
Services partially completed
If a cleaning session is cut short due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g. loss of access, utility failure), we will charge only for the time worked and refund the difference.
Dissatisfaction with service
If you are not satisfied with the quality of a clean, please contact us within 24 hours. We will:
- Investigate your complaint
- Where appropriate, offer a partial re-clean of the affected areas at no additional charge
- If a re-clean is not feasible or does not resolve the issue, we may offer a partial refund at our discretion
We do not offer refunds for:
- Services that were completed to the agreed specification
- Issues not reported within 24 hours of the clean
- Circumstances outside our reasonable control
6. How to Request a Cancellation or Refund

Please include your booking reference (if applicable), the date of the service, and the reason for your request.
7. Recurring Bookings
If you wish to cancel a recurring cleaning arrangement, please give us at least 48 hours’ notice before the next scheduled clean. The cancellation of a recurring arrangement does not affect individual bookings that have already been confirmed.

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated “last updated” date.
